2012 The Movie : US$225 Millions in Only Three Days
It seems that the world has infected with ’2012 Fever’ with earning up to US$225 Millions at it’s first three days premiere.
Based on the data from Reuters in USA and Canada, 2012 the movie gets US$65 Millions, and the rest US$160 Millions is coming from the other 150 countries.
Columbia Pictures as the distributor of this movie claimed that 2012 as the highest earning movie in cinema history.
The doomsday-coming movie ’2012′ is played by Actor John Cussack and directed by Roland Emerich. The movie it self got controversial at first. The storyline it self is based on the Mayan Calendar which ends in December 12th, 2012 and considered as the world apocalypse.
Box office this week has put the Jim Carrey’s Disney’s A Christmas Carol in number two chart. This movie has previously be in number one of the box office chart with US$22.3. While ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’ which is played by George Clooney, Ewan McGregor and Jeff Bridges must take the fact that they be in number three chart this week with the earning of US$6.2
